Our Ortho Dog Mat is an orthopaedic pet bed that features a water-resistant topped cover that is machine washable. Inside is a 100mm high convoluted orthopaedic Australian foam mattress designed to relieve pressure points and to prolong the health of your pet’s hips and joints.

It’s lightweight and allows air to flow, which is ideal for less mobile pets and is especially suited to older or injured pets and those who suffer from hip dysplasia or arthritis, it’s also suited to pets who overheat or feel the cold. The foam is treated with Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial treatment, which helps control dust mites and other household bugs that trigger allergies and asthma. It helps keep the foam fresher and cleaner for longer controlling unwanted odours caused by bacterial growth.

Like all Superior Pet Goods beds the Ortho Dog Mat orthopaedic dog bed is guaranteed for life. We will repair or replace any product or part that is not up to scratch. Read more about our product warranty.

My disabled dogs benefit greatly. 1dog is paralysed and incontinent and 1 dog only has 1 ear and 2 legs. So a firm but gentle bed is required.

Molly loves to sit out the front Patio area we have, woof to all the dogs going past! & greet any passers bye for a pat, she is truly a social butterfly 🦋! very friendly! This area is brick paved, so not that comfortable to sit on, now with her new, Ortho Dog Mat, she is soo! comfortable! & higher up, doesn't miss a thing! Still has time to give everyone a woof in between snoozes! "Thank you!" very happy customer! 🐶 Big woof from Molly!

    Excellent mat, I also purchased the rip stop covers to go with the mats, my 2 large dogs are so comfortable on them and they fit perfectly on the Superior pet goods raised dog beds

All fabric options have a water-resistant top to protect the foam beneath from little accidents and damp dogs.

Cleaning and removing the cover is a breeze! A full zip runs around two sides of the bed making reassembly super easy! Simply take the cover off and throw it in the machine.

What’s inside?

Australian made orthopaedic convoluted foam forms the base of our Ortho Dog Lounger. At 10cm thick it provides ultimate comfort and protection for joints and bones. All our foams are treated with Ultrafresh for added protection from mould and to help keep woofy odours at bay.
