Our Ortho Dog Lounger is an extra comfy walled orthopedic dog bed with an orthopedic foam base suitable for older or injured pets and those who suffer from hip ailments or arthritis.
It is constructed from soft water-repellent ripstop canvas that is tear-resistant and ideal for dogs who are tough on their bedding. The fabric is breathable and offers warmth in colder weather. The padded sides offer protection and comfort for your pet as well as a cosy head or chin rest! The bolsters are full to the brim with our unique blend of PET fibre filling (made from post-consumer recycled plastics and Australian foam). Cleaning is effortless, simply zip off the cover for easy machine washing and tumble drying. The foam has been treated with Ultra-Fresh to keep ‘woofy’ odours at bay. Like all Superior Pet Goods beds the Ortho Dog Lounger orthopaedic dog bed is guaranteed for life. We will repair or replace any product or part that is not up to scratch. Ripstop fabric is a durable fabric that is made using a special reinforcing technique that makes it resistant to tearing and ripping. It’s often used in making products for the outdoors such as sails, tents, sleeping bags, flags and banners to name a few. It will stand up well to dogs that are tough on their beds but it is not indestructible. If your dog chews or scratches destructively no soft dog bed will be a match for them. What’s inside?
Australian made orthopaedic foam forms the base of our Ortho Dog Lounger. At 10cm thick it provides ultimate comfort and protection for joints and bones. All our foams are treated with Ultrafresh for added protection from mould and to help keep woofy odours at bay.
The walls are filled with our unique blend of recycled PET fibre (which is made from recycled plastic drinking bottles), and Australian Made Foam. Designed and blended right here in Melbourne to offer your pet the perfect combination of comfort and stability. It’s brilliant at retaining its loft and is fully machine washable and tumble dryer friendly.
