The 100% biodegradable replacement cover for our Superior Steel Raised Dog Bed. The old faithful Hessian Cover will withstand the harshest environments. It is now constructed from higher-grade natural fibres found in the jute plant, making it more durable. This cover has a natural stretch that allows your pet the comfort to nest. If it ever gives too much, some time in the sun will return its shape. The beloved Hessian Cover now comes with VELCRO® tabs for easy fitting and tightening. Simply slide the cover over the frame and adjust the tabs. It’s a breeze to keep clean; a hose down will do the trick.

Product Care

Simply hose down the cover and if required you can use lukewarm water and a mild detergent to scrub off any encrusted dirt, please rinse thoroughly. Dry in the sun. This cover will withstand the harshest environments even when exposed to moisture and the elements. Made from natural fibres it does have a natural stretch. If you find it has stretched too much some time in the sun will return its shape.

All our hessian products are treated with natural vegetable oils and pet-safe vegetable dyes, no harsh chemicals.

Some imported hessian products are treated with formaldehyde, a chemical used to make fabrics more resistant to wrinkles, shrinking, and water. While this might sound convenient, it comes at a cost: formaldehyde has been linked to skin irritation, respiratory issues, and long-term health concerns for both pets and humans.

Our fitted raised bed covers are designed with convenience and functionality in mind. Every fitted cover features secure velcro tabs, making it incredibly easy to fit and tighten onto your raised bed.

Compost your cover after use!

100% biodegradeable and treated with vegetable oils and no nasty chemicals, your old used hessian cover can be composted or used in the garden safely after use – they make a great weed mat! (Make sure to cut the velcro tabs off before you do!).
